Stinkbug Games makes art-inspired indie games about playful release, tactile interaction and making something new from the mess.

What is Stinkbug Games?

An art-led indie studio with a bug in its sketchbook.

Stinkbug Games is an early-stage indie studio making games that are expressive, tactile and a little bit strange in the correct direction.

The work blends satisfying interaction, odd humour and a calming edge: not a sermon, not a lecture, just games that give the player something to do with the noise.

Creative direction is human-led. Production uses AI-assisted tools where they help the work move faster, with human review and taste still driving the decisions.

Games for poking the bruise, then drawing a face on it.

Games with a sketchbook pulse: handmade ideas, sharp silhouettes and room for weirdness.

Tactile

Objects should feel good to touch, break, move, collect and reassemble.

Why Stinkbug?

A tiny mascot. A useful amount of chaos.

The bug is handmade, slightly wonky and instantly itself. That is the studio signal: lo-fi character, black-background confidence, warm yellow lines, no fake polish.

Current project

RageRoom is where destruction gets an art degree.

A one-room first-person prototype about smashing targets, collecting fragments and rebuilding the wreckage into a named artwork. Loud action, quiet aftertaste.
